Event Details
Join us on Saturday 4th February as we explore how faith, prayer and lifestyle can bring change locally and globally
Renowned conference speaker, and former Tearfund board member, Andy Hickford will consider how consumerism shapes our faith and attitudes towards poverty as he unpacks our theme of ‘Be the change’ .
And seminar leaders from Northern Ireland, England and Ethiopia will encourage delegates to think about the actions we can take in our everyday lives to bring change locally and globally. Seminars will be led by NI Evangelical Alliance Director Peter Lynas, Simon Haile from the Kale Heywet Church in Ethiopia, Priscilla Reid from Christian Fellowship Church, local financial adviser Joe Carey, and Carla Harding from the 24/7 Prayer network.
‘Last year, nearly 200 people came along to the first Re:Ignite conference, and we know many went away with renewed determination to have an impact on poverty’ says Northern Ireland Tearfund Director Tim Magowan . ‘This year, we hope you’ll be inspired further to be the change locally and globally.

About us
Tearfund is a Christian international aid and development agency working globally to end poverty and injustice, and to restore dignity and hope in some of the world’s poorest communities.
We operate in more than fifty countries around the world. As well as being present in disaster situations and recovery through our response teams, we speak out on behalf of poor people on the national and international stage by petitioning governments, campaigning for justice and raising the profile of key poverty issues wherever we can.
We have a vision to see 50 million people released from material and spiritual poverty through a worldwide network of 100,000 local churches.
